Langley High
School Crew is searching for candidates to fill the following positions on
our coaching staff:
Assistant/JV Women’s Coach
Freshman/Novice Women’s Coach
Freshman/Novice Men’s Coach
An ideal Assistant Coach candidate would have competitive rowing/coxing
experience, and a desire to promote a passion for the sport in working with
motivated student athletes.
Langley High School is moving in to its 16th season of Crew, and during the last
several seasons we have averaged about 70 athletes. We are lucky to have an
extremely active and supportive parent booster organization that provides all
equipment, financial, travel, fundraising, and logistical needs for our team to
be competitive and successful. Our student athletes are enthusiastic and eager,
and our coaches are encouraged and empowered to foster an environment of
personal growth, community and team accomplishment.
Winter training runs from Nov–Feb at Langley HS in McLean VA, and regular season
practices are Mon -Fri, 4:30–7:00 pm, Mar–Memorial Day at the Sandy Run Regional
Park, with regattas on most Saturdays.
Langley’s Crew Boosters Club offers a competitive salary based on level and
years of experience, regular opportunities for promotion, along with
professional development funding for our coaching staff. We welcome applications
